Inspired by Sonnet 23, Six performers will create contemporary characters that have intertwining stories and these will be performed all around the supermarket.
“I don’t know when I’ve enjoyed a live performance so much, AND I could simultaneously shop – as a modern Mum, it was perfect.” Audience member 2009
Supermarket Shakespeare is FREE to attend, no need to book, just show up and find the characters in the Vegetable Section.
“I loved watching the story flow from a Shakespearean sonnet into the madcap world of Sunday in a supermarket. William Shakespeare would have been chuffed”
