A new project is commencing to reinvigorate the empty/disused spaces of East London and we’re needing your help to conduct a foot survey of Tower Hamlets for these spots.
A gathering has been organised for this Saturday at the Approach pub (Victoria Park, Bethnal Green), where people will converge with their digital cameras and be handed a section of a Tower Hamlets map to wander and photograph disused/abandoned spaces. We’ll come back to the pub at 5pm for a well deserved bevvy and gather our findings.
Please let us know by RSVPing on here or contacting Elin – elinnet@gmail.com
The best photographs will be shown at an event later in the week at Whitechapel Art Gallery (on Thursday 9th July 2009).
When: Saturday 4 July 2009 – meet at 2pm
Where: The Approach Pub, 47 Approach Road, E2 9LY (10 mins walk from Bethnal Green tube)
