Shanghai

Shanghai, according to the UN is the eight fastest-growing city in the world. Shanghai’s economy is growing and the city continues to build themed satellite towns, new tube-line and built over 10,000 skyskcrapers in the last 10 years. It is now one of the financial centers in the world. Shanghai only recently has become a more diverse society with only 0.7% of its population born outside China. Population growth is driven by migrant workers who meet the demand for low-wage labour.

who could think of a better way than to urbaneer a new city than using the Walton Art Exposure Project?
we had lots of fun finding our star-map places to take photo’s of our blue squares in Shanghai…not to mention all the strange looks we got from the shanghainese!
