I pass through Old Street most days. I often wonder what it was like 30 years ago, the area still has many large factory buildings which are mostly now offices and very expensive apartments. Traffic screams around Old Street roundabout on it’s way to and from the City itself and to the West End. Sprawling council estates still house many older people whose original homes were bulldozed after the war to make way for a new Britain.
